The UK BIM Alliance is a construction industry alliance set up to respond to the challenges set by BIM Level 2 and to continue the work of the BIM Task Group. It was officially launched during the 2016 ICE BIM Conference and Digital Construction Week.
The UK BIM Alliance will provide a common and clear point of reference for built environment companies, with a view to enabling and supporting their BIM journeys. It’s pre-launch activities involved working on coordination, common messaging and common understanding across a coalition of more than 50 organisations.
The UK BIM Alliance represents and works with and for the Built Industry, facilitating the drive to digitally transform the Industry through education, leadership and focus. In an industry of over 4M people, where 95% work in SMEs, or micro-SMEs, our mission is to ensure that we all understand the value of a digital enabled industry.
The UK BIM Alliance aims to ensure BIM becomes business as usual whilst at the same time, transforming and future proofing the way the industry work.
